This role is in Short Hills, NJ, with occasional travel to NYC.
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join the Blue Owl Talent Acquisition Team in a lead capacity. The initial and primary focus of this role is to increase direct hiring for our corporate function teams through a variety of sources. By providing a superior hiring experience, we aim to build strong relationships with Senior Leaders and enhance the strategic impact of Talent Acquisition.
This unique opportunity allows you to create meaningful impact in a growing company and department. Your day-to-day duties and longer-term projects will include:
- Developing and executing role-specific hiring strategies by leveraging:
- Job Postings
- Direct Sourcing
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Staffing Agencies
- Diversity Partners
- Referral Networks
- Managing recruiting pipelines and conducting initial screenings of candidates where applicable.
- Engaging with agencies for select roles.
- First line of compensation review and assessment, negotiation of compensation with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Proactively collaborating with senior leaders on hiring plans and role prioritization.
- Maintenance of Workday Requisitions and proper data hygiene across roles in corporate functions
- Managing and executing one or more of the following initiatives:
- WorkDay process improvement
- Candidate Experience enhancement
- Recruiting Training
- Employer Brand development
- Diversity Recruitment
- Maintaining a pipeline of agency partnerships for hard-to-fill roles.
- Participating in ad hoc talent acquisition projects.
- Demonstrates the ability to connect with leaders and build successful partnerships.
- Has a proven track record of cost savings through direct sourcing in a scaled talent acquisition model.
- Has experience recruiting across Accounting and Finance, with a strong knowledge of the talent landscape.
- Possesses excellent judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to perform analytical tasks in Excel using pivots and basic formulas.
- Remains focused on the big picture.
- Has the potential to manage direct reports, and engage with junior colleagues in a mentor capacity .
- Positive "can do" attitude, but the judgement to manage expectations appropriately.
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $175,000 to $190,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
