Position Overview:

As a Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader, you will take charge of developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that align with our overarching business goals. This essential role allows you to lead a team of adept talent acquisition specialists and contribute to a vibrant Center of Excellence. Your efforts will significantly influence our organization's capacity to attract and retain top-tier talent, cultivating a workforce that is diverse, innovative, and prepared to tackle the demands of a global marketplace.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Develop Talent Acquisition Strategies

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess current and future talent landscapes, identifying gaps and devising effective strategies to address them.
  • Drive the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and establishing a roadmap for ongoing talent pipeline development.
  • Leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to guide talent acquisition strategies and meet hiring targets across various business units.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders on succession planning, talent reviews, and assessments to identify talent gaps and future needs, strategizing to ensure robust talent pipelines.
  • Work in partnership with Centers of Excellence such as Talent Analytics and Insights, Talent Management, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to drive the execution of key initiatives.

Enhance and Innovate Talent Acquisition Processes

  • Act as a subject matter expert in recruitment, staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and legal developments.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
  • Innovate and integrate recruitment processes that enhance the candidate experience and reflect our commitment to excellence.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in recruitment technology to continuously refine our talent acquisition strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Manage special talent acquisition projects as needed.

Foster Diversity and Skill Development within the Team

  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by embedding these principles into every aspect of the talent acquisition process.
  • Encourage the adoption and utilization of advanced talent acquisition technology, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of recruitment innovation.
  • Oversee a team of recruiters with a focus on professional development and retention, coaching on effective communication with hiring managers, candidate relationship management, and proper recruitment practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals, including performance monitoring through data, metrics, process improvement, and strategy execution.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI technologies and advanced recruitment tools.
  • Experience in a matrix-centric organizational environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging in a multi-business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently learn and understand various business areas.
  • Proven success in sourcing and attracting top diverse talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compliance related to OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs).
  • Strong enthusiasm for leveraging social media and digital channels for recruitment.
  • Exceptional integrity and a proactive approach to driving strategic business decisions.
  • Prior experience in project management and leading significant talent acquisition initiatives.
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for building global talent acquisition frameworks.
  • A successful track record in developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • An analytical approach to decision-making, supported by a deep understanding of talent acquisition metrics.
