Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) plays a key role in the onboarding of new hires, providing a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers and HR. The TAC’s job begins as soon as a candidate signs his/her offer letter. The TAC manages various administrative tasks, coordinates background checks and new hire communication and manages reporting. The TAC has excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing a “white glove” candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates starting when offer letters are signed and submitted
  • Provide timely updates to candidates, recruitment team, hiring managers and HR allowing for a positive candidate experience
  • Assist recruiters by maintaining accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and various onboarding platforms
  • Partner and manage vendor relationships to facilitate background checks, driver requirements, physicals and drug screens
  • Complete all driver qualification steps
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new hires, verifying all necessary documentation is completed, communicated and on schedule
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve the recruitment process and candidate experience, implementing best practices and innovative solutions
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for out-of-town candidates as needed, ensuring a smooth and professional interview experience
  • Assist in developing and promoting the company's employer brand through social media, career fairs, and other channels
  • Help ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and regulations
  • Create and communicate first day schedule for new hires
  • Coordinate first day paperwork with branch point of contacts
  • Manage Adverse Action process

Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), recruiting analytics experience
  • ADP knowledge preferred
  • SharePoint knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably ADP
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a recruiting or administrative role, in a fast-paced environment
