The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will structure the Recruiting Department, design processes and assist the Head of HR in establishing a compelling employer brand supporting Gersh business growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Business Partner to play a crucial role in attracting top talent. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in recruiting in our industry or similar, a background in managing teams, designing and implementing recruiting strategies for their clients’ groups.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In collaboration with the Head of HR, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner will develop talent acquisition strategies to bring in top talent, and build a strong, engaged workforce that drives our organization’s success.
  • Partner with Head of HR to develop and communicate compensation packages to final candidates, considering pertinent external market data, internal equity, and skills and experiences brought to the role by the selected candidate.
  • Determine and forecast hiring needs based on business requirements and growth plans.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
  • Manage Gersh internship and externship programs.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings.
  • Lead all sourcing strategies. Creates innovative programs and campaigns that attract diverse candidates.
  • Develop a network of potential future hires (i.e. past applicants and referred candidates)
  • Lead and leverage internal referral campaigns, connections and networks.
  • Understand and leverage the power of alumni networks.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and build hiring profiles.
  • Lead and execute the full recruitment and selection cycle (interviews, screening calls etc.).
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience: from the application, through the interviews and communication (including feedback, rejection and employment offers).
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the hiring profiles for each new position and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience. Conduct candidate assessments.
  • Monitoring recruitment procedures, from sourcing to hiring, ensuring a fully compliant process.
  • Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget.
  • Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement: analyze retention and attrition rates.
  • Lead benchmark analysis, communicate compensation trends and recommend market adjustments.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives: online and in-person employer branding activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with external partnerships with colleges, job boards and Industry peers.
  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, roundtables or other events.
  • Manage our team of recruiters.
  • Implement and Manage Applicant Tracking System.
  • Facilitate training for all hiring managers on hiring processes and ATS management ensuring compliance to federal and local laws.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or relevant field required; master's degree desired.
  • 10+ years of recruitment and/or hiring experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
  • Industry experience required; Agency experience preferred.
  • Proven record in successfully managing Hiring Managers and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting compliance and legal requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and other presentation software: i.e. Canva, etc.
  • Proficient in Excel and other analytical software: Power BI, integrated system in ATS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Greenhouse desired.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
