This role requires you to be in the St Peterburg Dayforce office from Monday to Friday -8:30am-5:00 pm (EST)
About the opportunity
The Administrative Assistant role performs administrative duties and provides onsite support for the local office.
What you’ll get to do
- Proactively manages or may cover the office reception area, providing exceptional experiences for all individuals, ensuring all visitors are welcomed courteously, professionally and in compliance with company procedures.
- May be a part of a phone queue to answer and direct calls appropriately.
- Ensuring that reception services delivered are reliable, cost effective and satisfy the requirements of the business.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
- Perform general admin duties. This may include special projects from various departments.
- May assist with preparation of reports and/or presentations using Excel or PowerPoint.
- Partnering cross functionally to align on upcoming events. Assists in facilitation of meetings, customer engagements, employee events, or other, including ordering catering for on-site meetings as required.
- Maintains conference rooms and kitchen in the reception area - checking conference rooms and kitchen to ensure they are clean and tidy, maintaining and monitoring adequate stock and supplies.
- Travel and expense reports
- Monitor admin mailbox and fulfill order requests.
- Manage conference rooms and reservations using the FM Systems app.
- Provides time away support for admin team.
- Collaborate with admin peers sharing best practices.
- May assist Facility Manager with duties related to the facility.

Skills and experience we value

- Good time management skills. Must have the ability to determine work timelines and schedules to complete tasks and projects assigned, with minimum supervision.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Motivated, proactive, practical, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work and learn new technology. IT literate preferred.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be flexible.
- Take initiative in self-development.
