Overview

Objective of the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)

The primary goal is to foster and sustain an active and expanding county Farm Bureau by promoting member engagement and supporting county committees and leadership. This role involves assisting the county Farm Bureau in creating and maintaining effective programs and services that cater to the needs of its members. Responsibilities include updating the county Farm Bureau website with articles authored by members, details of county programs, and relevant images. Additionally, the coordinator will manage the county's social media platforms and devise a comprehensive social media strategy. Accurate and efficient management of office and financial records for the county Farm Bureau is also essential.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)

Collaborate with county Farm Bureaus to promote member participation, assist county committees, and support Farm Bureau programs and services.

Support the executive committee in formulating the annual budget, ensuring timely payment of routine expenses within the budgetary framework. Maintain comprehensive financial records, including all recommended month-end reports, year-end reports, and monthly reconciliations of all county Farm Bureau bank accounts.

Work alongside County President(s) and the Regional Manager to prepare meeting agendas and provide necessary information and correspondence for board and executive committee meetings.

Oversee the administration of the health care program within the county. This includes marketing, servicing, and actively selling health insurance products. Process enrollments and assist members in resolving enrollment, service, and claims issues. Engage in continuing education programs to maintain health insurance licensing, obtaining annual certifications as required. (If applicable) Must secure a license within six months to sell health insurance.

Qualifications

Qualifications for the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

One to three years of experience in general business and office management is required.

Ability to interact effectively with the public using various communication methods.

Commitment to promoting the objectives of the Farm Bureau organization is essential.

Capability to work collaboratively with volunteers, co-workers, county Farm Bureau members, and the general public while maintaining a service-oriented, helpful, and courteous demeanor.

A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.

Preferred

An associate degree is preferred.

Experience in volunteer management is preferred.

Prior work experience with other volunteer organizations is preferred.

Note This is a full-time position with standard working hours.
