Overview
Objective of the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)
The primary goal is to foster an active and thriving county Farm Bureau by promoting member engagement and providing support to county committees and leadership. This role involves assisting the county Farm Bureau in creating and enhancing effective programs and services that cater to the needs of its members. Responsibilities include updating the county Farm Bureau website with articles authored by members, details about county programs, and related imagery. Additionally, managing county social media platforms and formulating a comprehensive social media strategy is essential. Accurate and efficient maintenance of office and financial records for the county Farm Bureau is also a key responsibility.
Responsibilities of the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)
Key responsibilities include collaborating with county Farm Bureaus to stimulate member participation, aiding county committees, and supporting Farm Bureau programs and services.
Assist the executive committee in drafting the annual budget and ensure timely payment of routine expenses within the budgetary framework. Maintain comprehensive financial records, including month-end reports, year-end summaries, and monthly reconciliations for all county Farm Bureau bank accounts.
Engage with County President(s) and the Regional Manager to prepare meeting agendas and provide necessary documentation and correspondence for board and executive committee gatherings.
Oversee the administration of the health care program within the county. This includes marketing, servicing, and actively promoting health insurance products. Process member enrollments and assist in resolving enrollment, service, and claims issues. Participate in requisite continuing education programs to uphold health license requirements and obtain annual certifications (if applicable). Must achieve licensure within six months to sell health insurance.
Qualifications for the County Administrative Coordinator II (Clinton County)
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
One to three years of experience in general business and office management is required.
Proficiency in public engagement using various communication methods is essential.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to advocate for the objectives of the Farm Bureau organization is required.
Ability to collaborate effectively with volunteers, co-workers, county Farm Bureau members, and the public while maintaining a service-oriented, helpful, and courteous demeanor is crucial.
A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
An associate degree is preferred.
Experience in volunteer management is advantageous.
Prior experience with other volunteer organizations is also preferred.
Note: This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule.
