The **Policy and Research Analyst - Brain Health** plays a crucial role in driving the organization's public policy priorities and positions, while also ensuring the successful execution of public-facing events. In addition to collaborating with senior team members to conduct policy research and data analysis, the analyst utilizes sound research methodologies to conduct primary research as directed, contributing valuable insights to inform decision-making. With a comprehensive understanding of the organization's goals and objectives, the analyst's expertise in executing public facing events helps create impactful and engaging experiences for stakeholders and the wider public alike. Through their dedication to research, analysis, and event execution, the Policy and Research Analyst contributes to advancing the organization's mission and shaping public policy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with and assists colleagues to access, analyze, and interpret data. Analyzes data and conducts literature reviews to develop insights.
- Contributes to written reports and team projects that align with the organization’s public policy priorities and positions.
- Assists colleagues with policy development and research; planning events such as forums, roundtables, and working groups; and implementing research projects.
- Assists the team with various project management tasks and social media outreach, and helps develop charts, tables, and graphics for papers and presentations.
- Monitors current legislative, regulatory, and public policy trends for the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other communication and data visualization software.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for event planning, project management, and public relations campaigns.
- Ability to manage volunteers, policy/science collaborators, and organizations.

**Preferred**:

- Master's degree, Ph.D., or Juris Doctorate.
