Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Policy Analyst to join our team at International Executive Service Corps. As a Tax Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on a broad range of tax policy issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on tax policy issues, including forecasting federal revenues and evaluating the effects of past and proposed changes to federal tax and transfer policies.
  • Develop and maintain quantitative models to analyze tax policy issues.
  • Write reports and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and experts to develop and implement tax policy research projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with current tax policy issues and developments.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in economics or a related field.
  • Strong background in economics and quantitative analytical experience in economics, tax policy, or a closely related field.
  • Experience using large microdata files and statistical software or high-level programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience related to federal tax or transfer policies.
