Job Title: Account Executive - Academia

Location: Seattle, Washington (Remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients, leveraging scientific expertise to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Present reagents and contract research services effectively, collaborate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets while staying updated on industry trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.
  • Travel within the Seattle area to visit clients, ensuring strong customer relationships and personalized service.

Requirements:

  • Previous junior level sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals, preferably involving reagents and contract research services.
  • Strong understanding of molecular and cell biology concepts, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for effective engagement with researchers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field preferred.
  • Preferably based in or within commutable distance to Seattle, Washington, with the ability to travel locally to meet with clients.
