Manufacturing Program Manager


BSU Inc. is a dynamic and fast-growing Electronic Manufacturing and Design company.


Summary: The PM is responsible for managing all tasks and requirements related to the manufacturing of a customer electro-mechanical product order. They will lead all the processes required from order receipt, manufacturing and shipping on schedule and within budget.

Job Duties:


1. Responsible for managing all aspects of product production
2. Full accountability and authority for leading and managing assigned programs.
3. Set program strategy, vision and tactical direction for execution by a multi-functional team.
4. Act as primary contact and be responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technical and schedule performance of assigned programs within contractual boundaries and company expectations using approved business model and management tools.
5. Establish an executable baseline, manage program risk and opportunity, set milestones, monitor program performance. Expectation to identify potential problems, in sufficient time, for corrective action to be taken to ensure meeting contractual requirements.
6. Develop program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations such as engineering, contracts, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, quality control and administrative functions.
7. Direct performance of program tasks by focusing the team and enabling them to achieve desired results.

Requirements:


1. 3+ years experience in an electronics engineering and PCB assembly manufacturing environment with similar responsibilities
2. Ability to perform the responsibilities outlined above without supervision after an initial training period
3. Process and continuous improvement oriented
4. Has a customer first mindset
5. Has a passion for quality and excellence
6. Has the ability to quickly learning new software, processes, procedures and equipment
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across entire organization
8. Experience working as a lead on multi-functional teams
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools including Project, Excel, Word
10. Understanding of complex electro-mechanical assemblies
11. Ability to receive and interpret work order

Education:


1. Bachelors Degree required in Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
