Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will take charge of technical program management for the Oryon CPU Engineering team's initiatives, focusing on the development and delivery of a significant Qualcomm System on Chip (SoC).

This team is recognized for its innovative contributions to the industry, particularly in the realm of high-performance computing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and coordinate CPU Intellectual Property (IP) development, testing, and delivery to SoC, collaborating with top industry experts.
- Negotiate project timelines, scope, and resource allocation to achieve ambitious targets for efficient, high-performance CPU delivery.
- Organize and facilitate cross-departmental meetings to establish project milestones, schedules, and define essential tasks while setting program policies and processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot program challenges, proposing alternative tasks, schedules, and resource plans to mitigate issues.
- Assess risks, develop strategies for mitigation, and effectively communicate updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Regularly report to senior management on development milestones, budget status, metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Enhance team productivity and efficiency through process development.
- Oversee teams throughout the design, development, validation, testing, manufacturing, deployment, and support phases of hardware products.
- Act as a program advocate in cross-functional and stakeholder discussions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Program Management or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) in Engineering.
- Background as an engineer in chip development and integration into hardware or software systems, with experience in silicon development methodologies and leading tape-outs and validation processes.
- A strong foundation in IP core design and debugging, along with project management experience in IP teams handling multiple programs.
- Expertise in the VLSI development cycle and IP delivery processes.
- Proven ability to guide teams toward long-term objectives while managing immediate priorities.

- Proficient in resolving complex situations and adapting quickly to changing circumstances to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate between various office locations and transport equipment as needed.
- Capable of performing tasks at different heights and utilizing computers and testing equipment for extended periods.
