The Role
This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of personnel tasked with maintaining the facility's buildings and grounds in a pristine, secure, and organized state, as well as ensuring the upkeep and repair of utility systems and physical structures.

You will be accountable for the performance of the Third Party Manufacturing facilities team within a critical medical device manufacturing environment that operates continuously, including cleanroom standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Third Party Manufacturers to supervise the activities of personnel dedicated to maintaining the facility's cleanliness and orderliness, as well as the upkeep of utility systems and structural integrity.


  • Ensure the performance of the facilities team and the work output of subcontractors is consistently high.
  • Assess and determine the requirements for cleaning, repairs, and preventive maintenance of buildings and equipment; recommend staffing and contractor services to fulfill these needs; oversee and evaluate contractor and employee performance in building maintenance.
  • Manage the operations of the main lobby, including reception services, voicemail systems, and other telecommunication services, as well as building security operations, including access control and surveillance systems.
  • Oversee environmental safety protocols at the site; coordinate with experts as necessary and ensure regular safety training.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Recruit and retain a diverse and highly skilled workforce while providing ongoing performance evaluations. Maintain a safe and professional workplace.
  • Adhere to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, along with other regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational procedures. Foster positive communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant education and experience is required.

Preferred qualifications include a comprehensive understanding of facilities maintenance, with significant expertise in specialties such as electrical maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, and related fields. Experience in cleanroom environments and supporting continuous operations is advantageous. Familiarity with a cross-division business model is preferred.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including goal-setting and providing constructive feedback to foster positive relationships and enhance business outcomes. Capacity to work effectively within a team in a dynamic environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at various organizational levels. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with a commitment to accountability. Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including international travel.
