Position Overview:
This role is an onsite opportunity within the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we strive to empower individuals with diabetes to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Manager for Third Party Manufacturing, you will leverage your technical expertise in the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of facilities and utilities in collaboration with third-party manufacturers. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, budgeting, and scheduling modifications to facilities, including cost estimates for equipment, labor, and materials.
  • Overseeing the allocation and layout of building spaces and managing facility expansions.
  • Acting as a liaison between the organization and local authorities regarding facility-related activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in facility and utility infrastructure and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
