Basic Function:

The Compliance Coordinator performs a role to help ensure corporate initiatives and line of business processes comply with applicable laws and regulations. Ensures account executives are meeting operational quality assurance and sales goals.

Principal Accountabilities (Essential Functions)

1) Assist with the implementation of company policies and procedures to meet operational quality assurance goals and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2) Track policy and procedure updates to meet ongoing changes to remain current with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

3) Assists with internal monitoring and audit testing as directed by Compliance Director.

4) Ensures compliance training is scheduled and completed by appropriate employees.

5) Aids with presentations and group training on topics related to compliance and organizational policy and procedure.

6) Regularly participates in continuing education programs to stay abreast of changes in the FDCPA, FCRA, GLB and other relevant laws and regulations.

7) Manages new customer due diligence and approval for onboarding.

8) Participates in client meetings to discuss compliance topics and compliance management.

9) Monitor various aspects of sales activities.

10) Performs others duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required (Know How)

1. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication as well as analytical and critical thinking skills.

2. Ability to train, monitor, coach and provide feedback to account executives on a weekly basis.

3. Familiarity with requirements of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act, the Dodd-Frank Act as well as other potentially applicable laws and regulations strongly preferred.

4. Ability to learn and integrate new technology quickly

5. Ability to perform public speaking proficiently

6. Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities

7. Ability to make data driven decisions to identify opportunities of sales growth.
