Currently we are seeking a Service Tech Supervisor to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will oversee the Service Technicians in the Mounting department. This individual will have strong skills in leadership, diesel mechanics, and automotive electronics. This position will report to the Mounting Manager.

Your Role in Our MIssion:
  • Provide training and support to the Service Technicians in the Mounting department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Participates in the hiring process and handles coaching, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinates with department manager and supervisors to ensure timely troubleshooting of chassis and truck issues.
  • Manage and guide Service Technician team, ensuring that tasks are performed efficiently and at high standards.
  • Assist in training employees in the installation of systems of electrical controls for equipment, applying knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Maintain records of repairs and rework performed by Service Technicians in Epicor
  • Collaborate with outside suppliers and service centers to coordinate repair and service work.
  • Work with the engineering department on any needed changes.
  • Stay current on technical and chassis software updates.
  • Ensure all work performed meets company standards and complies with safety requirements.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
  • Five years of related experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to plan and implement change effectively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency with minimal supervision.
  • Computer skills and including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, Payroll, and Enterprise Resource Planning Software.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
