We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to take charge of the Final Assembly Process at our facility. The selected candidate will lead a skilled team responsible for the crucial final stages of assembly, ensuring the accurate installation of garbage truck bodies onto chassis, which includes preparation, wiring, and hydraulic operations. This position requires a solid technical background and a talent for encouraging innovation.

Your Role in Our Vision:

  • Establish a safe working environment and enforce safety standards.
  • Efficiently manage production schedules.
  • Design optimal manufacturing workflows and implement improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Identify opportunities for increased productivity and assist in executing necessary changes.
  • Oversee and coordinate the workforce, reduce downtime, and maintain high product quality standards.
  • Formulate strategies to minimize process variations and delays while enhancing productivity.
  • Engage in recruitment processes, monitor staff performance, and manage disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.

  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with industry processes and equipment.
  • Ability to plan and implement changes effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to multitask independently.
  • Mathematical skills, including proficiency with fractions and angles.
  • Financial understanding to comprehend profitability implications and make informed decisions.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
  • Proficient in computer operations, including document creation, spreadsheets, payroll, and ERP software.
