We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to take charge of the Final Assembly Process at our facility. The selected candidate will lead a skilled team responsible for the crucial final stages of assembly, ensuring the accurate installation of garbage truck bodies onto chassis, which includes preparation, wiring, and hydraulic operations. This position requires a solid technical background and a talent for encouraging innovation.
Your Role in Our Vision:
- Establish a safe working environment and enforce safety standards.
- Efficiently manage production schedules.
- Design optimal manufacturing workflows and implement improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Identify opportunities for increased productivity and assist in executing necessary changes.
- Oversee and coordinate the workforce, reduce downtime, and maintain high product quality standards.
- Formulate strategies to minimize process variations and delays while enhancing productivity.
- Engage in recruitment processes, monitor staff performance, and manage disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.

- Align production schedules with support units and promptly address manufacturing challenges.
- Communicate expectations and tackle issues with supervisors.
Qualifications for Success:
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with industry processes and equipment.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to multitask independently.

- Capability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
- Proficient in computer operations, including document creation, spreadsheets, payroll, and ERP software.
