Currently we are seeking a Final Assembly wirer to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will complete the wiring from the chassis to the body of the garbage truck for a finished product ready to be sent to customers.
We are currently offering a $500 sign on bonus.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Route New Way wiring harness through the chassis into the cab.
- Integrate DOT chassis harness to New Way DOT harness.
- Install camera systems, scale systems, and radar systems.
- Install custom cab consoles with body switches.
- Inspect and test own work for function and appearance.
- 1 year(s) preferred in Auto Mechanics
- Communicate effectively with other works to direct personal workflow.
- Read work orders and schematics.
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
- Meet and improve quality standards through troubleshooting techniques.
- Math skills including fractions and angles.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Understand and work with electrical wiring, specifically 12 Volt DC.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the Safety Department and Maintenance Department.
