What you’ll be doing: 

  • Identify and execute efficient, effective, and innovative recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the field team.
  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand current and future staffing needs.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through social media, internet sites, cold calling, texting, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade schools to coordinate classroom visits and post-graduation placement opportunities.
  • Work independently while communicating and documenting recruiting efforts.
  • Screen candidates and submit qualified candidates to the hiring manager for review.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and support the hiring process as requested by the hiring manager and/or HR.
  • Build, maintain and track leads for current and future opportunities.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:

  • Desire to be part of a winning team
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Knowledge of job requirements and qualifications of all assigned positions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to screen candidates effectively and to establish good professional relations with school, supply houses and others in the industry.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, licensing, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Preferably 2+ years of related experience in recruiting, HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing
