Position Overview: The Human Resources Manager at BlueHalo is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive array of HR functions, ensuring the effective management of employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the HR department, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Address HR-related inquiries from employees and management, offering expert advice and solutions.
  • Assist management in navigating complex HR issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions, while ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Lead investigations into employee relations matters, ensuring thorough documentation and communication of outcomes.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the implementation of HR policies and practices.
  • Administer various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and update organizational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing insights to enhance organizational growth.
  • Work closely with HR leadership and the broader HR team to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
  • Conduct audits and prepare mandatory reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality standards.
  • Review and update policies to ensure alignment with employment laws and best practices.
  • Stay informed about trends and changes in HR, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a minimum of 10 years of HR experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial HR role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Government Contracts sector is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP certification is desirable.
