Title: HR Generalist

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $33.50/hr (based on experience)

Work Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA (3 days onsite; 2 days remote)

40 hours/week // Mon - Fri // 9am-5pm

Duration: 4-month contract

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to administer HR policies and procedures covering two or more functional areas within their AI and Machine Learning business group. In this role, you will collect and analyze HR data, make recommendations to management, and process paperwork in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices and have a knack for effective communication across various teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer HR policies and procedures across multiple functional areas.
  • Answer questions from Team Managers then redirect to correct internal team – HR, Performance Management, Employee Relations, etc.
  • Collect, analyze, and report HR data, providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Process paperwork related to HR functions in alignment with established guidelines.
  • Prepare internal employee communications on topics such as compensation, benefits, and company policies.
  • Support team members by handling delegated tasks, allowing them to focus on key projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams, ensuring tasks are appropriately redirected and managed.
  • Manage HR-related processes for employees working in AI and Machine Learning.
  • Interact with various teams to ensure smooth HR operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related area.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in coordinating with multiple teams.
  • Experience in strategic HR, employee relations, and task delegation.
  • Familiarity with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
