Position Overview: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of HR functions, which encompass benefits management, compensation structures, employee relations, compliance adherence, performance and talent development, employee engagement, training initiatives, onboarding, offboarding, and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the HR team, offering support, backup, and guidance.
  • Address HR-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
  • Assist management and staff with complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues, including reasonable accommodations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring thorough documentation and communication.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the implementation of HR policies and strategies.
  • Administer and execute essential HR programs, including compensation, benefits, performance management, and training.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to research, develop, and revise organizational policies and guidelines as necessary.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support the growth strategies of the organization.
  • Engage with the HR leadership team and broader HR staff for effective collaboration.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employment change processes.
  • Conduct audits and prepare mandatory reports, including compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate human resource records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Review and update policies to comply with employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or 10+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Manager role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Government Contracts sector is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
