The Manager, HR Operations & Compensation will oversee and manage a variety of HR procedures and programs such as benefit design and administration, compensation, onboarding, leave of absence, employee relations, etc. for the Outform North America population. This position will be responsible for ongoing compliance assessment of HR policies and practices. The Manager, HR Operations & Compensation will lead a team of HR professionals (HR Generalist, etc.) and ensure effective and efficient practices to support the people and business needs. This role will design and communicate various HR programs and processes throughout the business (e.g. compensation structure design and implementation).

Responsibilities

  • Project manage in areas such as internal HR process improvements, performance reviews, compensation programs such as bonus and annual compensation reviews, employee experience, and onboarding
  • Lead policy improvements and updates (e.g. lead efforts to craft, implement, and update an employee handbook)
  • Participate in the strategy, design, implementation, and management of internal compensation programs
  • Oversee the selection and management of vendors for a variety of HR functions as needed
  • Research and collaborate with external counsel on local, state, and federal laws to ensure compliance; provide recommendations for any changes to company policies or procedures
  • Act as a plug-and-play resource for employee relations investigations to support HR Generalist and HR Business Partners as needed
  • Create and/or advise on change management and communication plans planning across HR and as needed with business
  • Provide strategic insights and support to the Chief Human Resources Officer, assisting with presentations, program development, and process improvements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in HR operations management
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in compensation role strongly preferred including experience implementing compensation programs and structures
  • Demonstrated experience implementing new HR policies and procedures
  • Experience managing employee relations and HR investigations strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and lack of structure
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification(s) preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
