Kindred Bravely seeks a strategic Human Resources Generalist to support our mission and brighten moms' days. Reporting to the VP of People and Culture, the Human Resources Generalist will oversee day-to-day HR activities and supervise an HR Coordinator. The ideal candidate has broad HR knowledge and experience with fully remote teams in the US and the Philippines. This fully remote position is based in the USA.

We are looking for someone with…

  • A growth mindset that proactively solves problems and practices continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with all levels
  • Progressive experience in all areas of HR (employee relations, time & labor, performance management, recruitment, benefits, training, etc.)
  • Proven experience being the administrator of an HCM, 1-2 years of Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Execute our HR strategy for all areas including recruiting, onboarding, retention, performance management, training, professional development, employee relations, and health and safety.
  • Ensure that recommendations and compliance with HR legislation are put forward and maintained.
  • Conducts investigations to effectively resolve employee relations issues.
  • Monitor KPI standards for the HR team and produce monthly reports.
  • Negotiate with candidates and vendors.
  • Forge strong cross-functional relationships across the organization.
  • Oversee recruitment process to attract qualified candidates, supporting Managers throughout the cycle.
  • Ensure consistent onboarding of new employees, assisting Managers in setting objectives for the probationary period and beyond
  • Support the annual performance management and open enrollment processes providing appropriate training and support to all levels of employees.
  • Use analytic tools to routinely evaluate employee engagement and satisfaction, benefits, and impact. Recommend enhancements/cost-saving opportunities as needed.
  • Manage annual HR budget with accurate reporting
  • Stay updated on best practices and technology solutions to improve processes and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • 1-2 years of recent experience using an HCM; Preferably with Paylocity
  • Experience leading HR at a remote company with 100+ team members
  • Experience providing payroll backup
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Must have SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Schedule: Full Time (Pacific Time business hours preferred)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
