POSITION SUMMARY –
We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR functions.
The Human Resources Coordinator will handle administrative tasks, assist with employee benefits, manage worker's compensation claims, coordinate training for new hires, support our talent acquisition team, and undertake various assignments to enhance departmental operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Collaborate with management to determine personnel requirements, job specifications, and necessary qualifications.
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.
- Facilitate background checks and reference verification for new hires.
- Collect documentation for work-related incidents and submit claims to the insurance provider.
- Prepare DocuSign documents for employment status and compensation adjustments.
- Assist with employee benefits and manage leaves of absence.
- Oversee tracking systems for HR programs.
- Draft correspondence as needed.
- Help with scanning and updating employee files in the HR system.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS –
- High School diploma or equivalent; HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and ADP is highly desirable.
- Understanding of federal and state employment regulations is crucial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and practices.
SALARY RANGE –
$24.00 per hour
