Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and developing new
business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to our customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders such as line awning
installers and plant purchasing agents, and plant managers.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and
objectives
• Forecast and track key account metrics such as RV units produced and awnings per day
requirements
• Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with Business Unit
Manager, Business Development Managers, and Plant Manager to ensure growth
attainment
• Track, manage and resolve customer requests
• Collaborating with Customer Service, develop and maintain customer quote files
• Become the expert in Velarium’s Awning products with the ability to communicate nuances
with customers
• Develop knowledge and understanding of our customers’ product and assist in design
requests and product application as required
• Develop and maintain a regular call schedule for personal contact with plant buyers and
window installers
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field. (Preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of sales or related field experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A self-starter who can work independently and follow through, with limited supervision
Other Job-Related Requirements
• This is a full-time position with a 40 hours week. Due to the nature and
demands of this role, flexibility is required to work outside of normal work schedule.
• This is an on-site position.
