Job Overview

ICP Group, a prominent manufacturer of specialized coatings, adhesives, and sealants, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee the Great Lakes Region. Our company is recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to quality across various industries, including RV/Automotive, marine, foam fabrication, insulation, and construction.

This role requires a seasoned sales professional with over 5 years of experience in managing distributor accounts within the Industrial and OEM sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our adhesive and polyurethane foam products, marketed under the TacBond, Slocum, Choice Brand Adhesive (CBA), and HandiFoam labels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 50 – 70% travel across multiple states and major cities within the territory, including WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH.
  • Engage with business leaders at various levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions for customers through live product demonstrations and educational presentations.
  • Participate in regular sales calls and ride-alongs with distributor Sales Representatives.
  • Guide and manage a team of Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze sales and lead generation reports to uncover market opportunities.
  • Provide insights on competitive products and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular customer follow-ups and comprehensive sales reviews.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in sales targeting industrial consumers of adhesives and polyurethane foam.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and training abilities.
  • A 4-year college degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to work autonomously with both new and existing clients to address common sales challenges.
  • Experience in cold-calling within a territory, engaging both large national clients and smaller OEMs.
  • Residency in the assigned territory is required, ideally in the northwest Indiana area.
