WHY WORK AT THETFORD: Private equity owned Regular interaction with the management team and investors Opportunity to grow with the company Role The Sales Manager - OEM is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market segment. This position involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team, and nurturing relationships with OEM clients to achieve business objectives. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in the OEM market segment. Lead and manage a high-performing OEM sales team, setting clear goals and providing coaching and guidance. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning solutions accordingly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery, technical support, and customer satisfaction. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competition to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies as needed. Create and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with OEM customers. Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all sales activities. Requirements Proven experience in sales & marketing with a focus on organic growth & business development. Must have OEM supplier experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset. In-depth knowledge of sales & marketing processes, industry best practices, and emerging trends. Robust analytical skills coupled with in-depth Excel knowledge. Ability to work under pressure and highly adaptable when working in varied working conditions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional & global teams and manage multiple priorities.
