Position: Technical Sales Support Specialist  (Temp Assignment to Cover for a LOA)

Description: We are seeking an experienced full-time Temp Sales Assistant to join our dynamic Resort Sales team We are a sales souvenir importer in San Fernando. To apply you must be creative, hard working, detail oriented with 2+ years sales related experience. You will be assisting the coordination of custom merchandise programs for numerous accounts.

Overview

Performs a combination of customer service and general sales assistant tasks and Trade Show Coordination. Assists in the coordination of artwork and product development of Resorts accounts, as assigned by Account Managers/Department Management.  Organizes and assists in coordinating Trade Show Contracts and assuring all supplies are organized and sent to Industry Specific Trade Shows.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.
  • Answer customer inquiries concerning order status, inventory availability, pricing, artwork, etc.
  • Has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery & shipping times.
  • Maintains communication with other departments to ensure order completion.
  • Processes incoming purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from senior account representatives or directly from customers.
  • Prepares Artwork Requests and clearly communicates all customer/senior account representative instruction/ specifications in writing on established company template.
  • Utilizes the company database to retrieve customer information, stock status information, and enter customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Assists in making Sample Boards, assembly and organization of Trade Show Sales Supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, senior representative or manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain high volume workload, meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Strong verbal skills and good written communication skills required
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Strong telephone etiquette skills
  • Good Troubleshooting Skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales and customer service environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must have a good memory
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to effectively use a PC including Microsoft Office (or equivalent programs) and a Windows based environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs, and work in an office and warehouse setting.

 

Mental Demands:

 

Basic English, Math and written/verbal communication skills needed.

 

Speaking:

Speak clearly and distinctly with appropriate pause and emphasis, correct pronunciation, variations in work order, using present, perfect, and future tenses.

 

Physical Demands - Strength Rating

 

Able to sit up to 8 hours per day in a cubical setting. Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb stairs throughout the day (department located on second floor, bathrooms and break room are on the first floor).
