The Full-Time Audiovisual Customer Support Agent will deliver sales and technical assistance to custom installation dealers and sales teams remotely, while providing expert training on a range of Sony audiovisual products, including televisions, home theater systems, projectors, and media players.


What We Provide:
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Work Environment: Hybrid role - remote work on designated days and in-office collaboration on others

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for the custom integration channel
  • Respond to inquiries from dealers and customers via phone and email
  • Manage technical escalations from dealers and customers
  • Advocate for customers throughout the service process to ensure a superior experience
  • Identify and recommend improvements within the service process
  • Document and report on activities and outcomes

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or relevant customer service role
  • 2+ years of experience with consumer electronics
  • Preferred experience in A/V installation or custom home integration
  • Familiarity with professional control systems such as Control 4, Crestron, or Savant
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in resolving customer issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable learning new software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities

Physical Requirements:
  • Access to a quiet home office with reliable internet connection
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Must possess a smartphone with internet access
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
