About Our Team

As a Support Specialist within the Bloomberg On-Site Support (BOS) team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in providing support to Bloomberg offices and clients across the region, encompassing responsibilities from desktop assistance to intricate network troubleshooting and management of IDF equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Support Specialist, you will be stationed at our office, delivering on-site assistance to Bloomberg offices and clients.

We expect you to possess the following skills:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. On-Site Assistance: Provide exceptional on-site support for the installation and maintenance of critical servers, routers, appliances, computers, and IDF equipment, including the physical setup of routers and switches.
  3. Order Management and Implementation: Assist in the order management and implementation processes, collaborating closely with clients and the Sales Department.
  4. Internal IT Support: Act as the primary contact for internal IT support, addressing user needs related to facilities, infrastructure, network connectivity, and desktop assistance.
  5. Customer Service Orientation: Deliver outstanding customer service during client interactions, managing tasks such as account management, license activation, and software support.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Linux-based platforms for router service or new installations, and troubleshoot issues across both Windows and Mac environments, covering software, hardware, and networking challenges.
  7. Vendor Collaboration: Work alongside vendors and consultants in the region to ensure effective service delivery.
  8. Documentation Skills: Maintain thorough documentation of all tasks and updates using our proprietary ticketing system.
  9. Multitasking Ability: Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Desktop Support: Strong troubleshooting skills across both Mac and PC environments.
  2. Mobile Device Support: Proficient in managing and troubleshooting mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms.
  3. Audio-Visual Support: Experience in setting up and supporting AV equipment for meetings and presentations.
  4. Network and IDF Equipment Support: Skilled in maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and IDF equipment.
  5. Order Management: Capable of overseeing order processes from implementation to client delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
