Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Homeowner Services Director, the PT Homeowner Services Coordinator performs a wide array of administrative duties in support of AAHH’s HO Services Department and is primarily responsible for processing of AAHH’s Home Repair Program applications. This includes but is not limited to distributing applications, communicating with clients, collecting documentation and determining eligibility in compliance with AAHH Home Repair Program policy and procedures.   

To be successful in this position, the applicant should have a minimum of two years of administrative work experience, strong verbal and written skills, and a high level of accuracy.

Essential Functions:
  1. Responsible for distributing, receiving, and processing AAHH Home Repair Program applications.
  2.  Research property records, tax status, and household occupancy. Collect documentation from applicants. Calculate partner fees, participant, and household Area Median Income.
  3. Evaluate information provided by program applicants, in conjunction with findings of internal research to determine eligibility in compliance with AAHH written policy and procedures.
  4. Communicate outcomes and manage calls from prospective clients.
  5. Enter data and maintain organizational databases and spreadsheets. Maintain well organized files.
  6. Provide monthly reports and supply documentation as needed for government audits.
  7. Protect client confidentiality.
  8. Support HO Services Department as needed, and as time permits. with collecting data, scheduling appointments, and communicating with HO program applicants
  9. Represent the organization in outreach events as needed
  10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills (2 years experience required)
  • High level attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
  • Sensitive to the needs of the elderly; extremely patient
  • Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions with minimum supervision
  • Able to communicate efficiently, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Personal qualities of integrity, commitment to DEI, and a passion for the mission of AAHH
  • Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during normal business hours

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Must be able to travel to meetings and events and communicate appropriately with stakeholders.
