Senior Demand Planner

As the Senior Demand Planner you will work closely with multiple departments across Best Buy Health including Finance, Marketing, and the Product teams. The senior demand planner also works very closely with external cross functional partners such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, and Pattern. Your main responsibility will be to manage the demand plan forecast using various data points from the business. Other responsibilities will include looking at historical data trends as well as market trends ensure the demand plan and forecast ate as accurate as possible. The demand planner will also collaborate with multiple internal cross functional teams to resolve any constraints or discrepancies between supply and demand. You will also interact with internal cross functional teams that could have international job duties that will need to be performed.

This role is remote.

What you'll do:
  • Manage demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as a part of a demand planning function across multiple product lines.
  • Manage different aspects of the demand planning business across multiple markets and may include international markets
  • Leads historical review of sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, using large datasets: develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.
  • Manage cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine forecast model to reflect updates sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Effectively interact with supply chain, sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to understand and analyze demand forecast drivers.

Basic qualifications
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in a product-based environment required.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in a supply chain/logistics-based environment required.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience supporting Customer Service systems required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, and forecasting methods

Preferred qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications preferred.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and render into charts, graphs, etc preferred
