Position Overview:
As a Senior Construction Supervisor at Sentry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various projects, ensuring that they are executed with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with diverse teams.
    • Projects typically range from 2 to 10 days in duration.
  • Acquire, impart, and apply essential skills and techniques to ensure successful project completion.
  • Maintain high standards of efficiency and quality, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Complete necessary documentation including time sheets, incident reports, and work orders as required by the company and clients.
  • Oversee the utilization of machinery and equipment.
  • Foster a positive work environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish weekly and daily objectives for individual teams, initiating projects on-site (scope, timing, etc.).
  • Communicate start times and locations effectively to team members.
  • Ensure teams are equipped with the appropriate tools and knowledge for success through education and training.
  • Approve time sheets and manage employee performance through hiring, reviews, and training.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to signal job invoicing.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in construction.
  • Experience with grain equipment installation and welding is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, project specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working at heights.

Crew Requirements:

  • Willingness to work extended hours in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly engage in activities such as sitting, walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and reaching, including the ability to ascend stairs and ladders.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Work in proximity to moving mechanical parts and outdoor elements.
