Gridiron Air LLC (“Gridiron” or “the company”) was established to provide safe, reliable, high quality wide-body air transportation to the Arizona Cardinals Football Club.


Position Summary:

The Charter Coordinator plays a pivotal role as the liaison between charter clients and the Company, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of Company aircraft during charters. This position encompasses both fundamental and advanced responsibilities in passenger service, ground operations, catering, and safety.


Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer & works closely and may take direction from Director of Inflight

Location: Fort Worth, TX or Remote with frequent travel as needed and during peak seasons

Type: This position is 90- day contract to Full-time hire.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Ensures aircraft is cleaned and properly provisioned with aircraft amenities (i.e., pillows, blankets, etc.) in coordination with FAs
  • Responsible for coordinating as needed with Director of Inflight for procurement of catering and on board service provisions for each flight
  • Coordinating with flight kitchens and providers for timely and accurate catering delivery and post flight servicing
  • Resolves disability-related issues beyond initial interactions with airline personnel
  • Ensures adequate resources (personnel, facilities, and equipment) for Company requirements
  • Ensures compliance with catering security protocols according to Company security program
  • Reports safety hazards
  • Coordinates with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) and Operations Control Center (OCC) for ground support equipment (GSE) provisioning and logistics
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Promotes safety practices and encourages reporting of safety concerns
  • Communicates effectively with Lead Flight Attendant as instructed by management
  • Responsible for creating and printing menus etc. and distribution as needed


As the company grows, this role will evolve and be responsible for additional duties to include:


  • Coordinates with Ground Security Coordinator (GSC)
  • Acts as Complaint Resolution Official (CRO) for charter flights
  • Communicates with Lead Flight Attendant to oversee security checks and delegate cabin security checks to Inflight Crewmembers. Ensures completion of security checks and final sign off
  • Records load data for passengers, cargo, and carry-on baggage

Additional duties as required, adapting to evolving needs and contributing to team success


Qualifications:

  • Airline Operations, Crew Scheduling/Ground Operations, Charter (minimum of 2 years of either or a combination) in a charter or commercial environment
  • Proven ability to perform all Charter Coordinator duties
  • Strong knowledge of airline and flight terminology and processes
  • Airline weight and balance certification a plus
  • Proven leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Effective communication including the ability to read, write and understand English
  • Must be able to make time dependent logistical decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Skills in observing situations analytically, responding objectively, and logically
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding client information and sensitive data, ensuring the highest level of trust and privacy in all client interactions
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively. Develops and maintains good relationships with co-workers and managers


Physical Demands:

  • Talk and/or hear constantly throughout the day
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and/or crouching as needed
  • Use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms as needed
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience)


Dress Code: Company uniform will be provided. If the uniform is delayed, the following dress is appropriate: Business casual dress is defined as follows (dark gray, black, navy, white and red preferred):

  • Casual shirts: All shirts with collars, business casual crewneck or V-neck shirts, blouses, and golf and polo shirts. Examples of inappropriate shirts include excessively tight shirts, T-shirts, shirts with inappropriate slogans or graphics, tank tops, muscle shirts, camouflage, and crop tops.
  • Pants: Casual slacks and trousers without holes, frays, etc. Examples of inappropriate pants include jeans, shorts, camouflage, and pants worn below the waist or hip line.
  • Footwear: Closed toe casual slip-on or tie shoes, dress shoes, and clean athletic shoes. Examples of inappropriate footwear include sandals, flip-flops, dirty athletic shoes, and construction or hunting boots.
