We are the “best-kept secret” in the industry The travel professionals in your region need to hear about us, and not only that, help us gain access to their clients so that we can sell them the “dream.”

Position Summary:

SeaDream Yacht Club is seeking an ambitious and energetic Director of Charter Sales and Incentives to drive sales of private yacht charters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the travel and hospitality industry, a strong network within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role involves identifying and securing new charter opportunities, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and coordinating incentive travel and meeting events.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Prospect for new charter opportunities with incentive meeting planners and high net worth individuals.
  • Identify and connect with decision-makers within corporations for potential incentive travel.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings and sales calls with new and existing clients.
  • Present the SeaDream Yacht Club yachting experience to charter prospects confidently and professionally.
  • Achieve a target of securing 10 or more new charters annually.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with incentive sellers, meeting planners, and corporate travel planners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and attend incentive travel and meeting events to promote SeaDream Yacht Club.


Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans and sales strategies to grow the charter and incentive business.
  • Create and execute tactical programs to generate revenue from various sources, including corporations, affinity groups, and tour operators.
  • Track and report on overall charter activity using CRM tools like HubSpot.

 

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in organizing and managing incentive travel and meeting events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of charters and events.


Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the charter and incentive travel sectors.
  • Provide weekly sales activity reports and maintain accurate data in CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.
  • Strong network and relationships within the MICE sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
