It is crucial for travel professionals in your area to discover us, and furthermore, assist us in reaching their clients to share the "dream" of SeaDream.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic and driven Director of Charter Sales and Incentives to spearhead the sales of private yacht charters. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sector, a robust network within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, and a demonstrated history of surpassing sales objectives. This role encompasses identifying and securing new charter opportunities, nurturing relationships with corporate clients, and orchestrating incentive travel and meeting events.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new charter opportunities with incentive meeting planners and affluent individuals.
  • Engage with decision-makers within corporations for potential incentive travel.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings and sales presentations with both new and existing clients.
  • Confidently present the SeaDream Yacht Club yachting experience to prospective charter clients.
  • Achieve a target of securing 10 or more new charters each year.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with incentive sellers, meeting planners, and corporate travel coordinators.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and participate in incentive travel and meeting events to promote SeaDream Yacht Club.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and sales plans to enhance the charter and incentive business.
  • Create and execute tactical initiatives to generate revenue from various sources, including corporations, affinity groups, and tour operators.
  • Monitor and report on overall charter activity utilizing CRM tools such as HubSpot.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in organizing and managing incentive travel and meeting events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of charters and events.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the charter and incentive travel sectors.
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and maintain accurate data in CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.
  • Strong network and relationships within the MICE sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients and attend events.
