Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Vendor Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with our Global payment processing vendors. This role involves ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations, delivering the best possible service to our organization, and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings. The Vendor Relationship Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related matters and will work closely with various internal teams to ensure that vendor performance aligns with organizational goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.

Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Conduct regular performance reviews and negotiate improvements as necessary.

Ensure vendors adhere to contractual terms and conditions.

Oversee the negotiation, implementation, and renewal of vendor contracts.

Ensure all vendor contracts are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Track contract milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates.

Act as the primary escalation point of contact for vendor-related issues.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve any service disruptions or issues promptly.

Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities with vendors.

Conduct regular financial analysis of vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Manage budget and financial aspects of vendor contracts.

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations, Procurement) to ensure vendor activities align with business needs.

Provide regular updates to senior management on vendor performance and strategic initiatives.

Facilitate effective communication between vendors and internal stakeholders.

Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.

Ensure vendors comply with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

The average base salary pay range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000
May be eligible for a discretionary bonus
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5 to 7 years professional experience in vendor management, preferably within the payment processing or financial services industry with global vendor management knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or equivalent experience in transaction processing industry preferred
• Experience with Payment Facilitation providers (i.e.: Stripe or Adyen) is a plus.
• Experience with Payment processing in other countries. (i.e.: Australia, New Zealand, UK/EU).
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and database management tools
• Occasional travel may be required to meet with vendors and attend industry events.
