Aston Carter is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and systems in commercial or industrial settings.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle maintenance requests and document all repairs.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and troubleshooting of machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and PLC systems.
  • Keep production teams informed about progress.
  • Disassemble malfunctioning machines and install new or repaired components.
  • Clean and lubricate machine parts.
  • Replace and repair electrical components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Install and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
  • Maintain the facility's physical structure.
  • Install, program, or repair automated machinery and controllers.
  • Operate machine tools and welding equipment.
  • Record time and materials used for repairs.
  • Design and fabricate modifications to machinery to improve performance.
  • Comply with ISO 14001 standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in maintenance or a related field.
  • Previous technical experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Proficiency in at least four essential maintenance skills.
