About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at RPM Living. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the maintenance of our properties, including exterior and interior spaces, to ensure they meet RPM Living's high standards.
  • Lead a Team of Maintenance Technicians: Direct and develop a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Maintenance Budgets and Resources: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, secure competitive bids for supplies and services, and process purchase orders and invoices to ensure costs are under control.
  • Ensure Resident Satisfaction: Respond to maintenance emergencies, follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction, and maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities.
  • Maintain Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with fire and safety codes, OSHA regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement Preventative Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
  • Train and Mentor Maintenance Team Members: Provide training and mentorship to maintenance team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: A minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: EPA certification required, CPO preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, and access various areas of the property.
