ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates patient referrals with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prioritizes and expedites patient orders efficiently.
  • Schedules patient appointments and provides necessary information.
  • Generates authorizations using designated software.
  • Ensures proper documentation and communication regarding patient care.
  • Participates in daily huddles and maintains effective communication with medical staff.
  • Manages inpatient and outpatient procedures effectively.
  • Reschedules missed appointments and ensures follow-up on orders.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
  • Performs various other related duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
  • Proficient in using computer software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with medical terminology.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with obtaining referrals and authorizations preferred.
  • Healthcare background in a clinical setting is advantageous.
  • CPR certification for Healthcare Providers preferred.
