Position Overview:

The Administrative Coordinator for Risk Management is responsible for executing specific tasks as directed by the Supervisor, alongside various other duties pertinent to the department and the organization. This role requires the completion of all assignments in a timely and efficient manner. The Coordinator must exercise discretion when handling both written and verbal communications, which may contain confidential and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will exhibit initiative, meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and thoroughness in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the General Counsel and other members of the Risk Management team as required.
  • Maintain and update the PaperSave system utilized by Risk Management.
  • Monitor and ensure that licensing requirements, as well as policy and procedure manuals, are current and accurate.
  • Participate in scheduled staff meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Ensure all necessary training, certifications, and licenses are kept up to date in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Uphold client confidentiality and handle all client-related documents in accordance with organizational guidelines on sensitive material.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Sciences.
  • Ability to relate sensitively to individuals from diverse backgrounds and effectively collaborate with various groups possessing different strengths and abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform job responsibilities with a high level of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Practical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant office experience is preferred.
