Job Description

The Business Development Account Specialist is responsible for the acquisition, retention, and growth of business and personal accounts within a defined territory. This role's primary focus is on acquiring, opening, and maintaining individual and business relationships while providing exceptional service and financial solutions. These accounts will be opened by the Business Development Account Specialist either within the Service Centers or at onsite locations when possible. This role will be instrumental in orchestrating services and product offerings within the community as well as partnered organizations while including Ent Business Partners in this process. The Business Development Account Specialist will need excellent communication, outbound sales, and relationship development skills, as well as strong organizational, time, and self-management skills, a broad knowledge of credit union products and services, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, utilize network to recruit new accounts (business and personal) and partner relationships for a defined region.
  • Represent Ent at Community and Workplace Partner Events.
  • Accountable for meeting member needs through maintaining a strong knowledge of products and services available to members, regularly providing referrals to such products and services in all areas including, but not limited to lending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, and business banking
  • Provide quality member service through accurate and professional face to face member transactions to include new member account creation (business and personal), account file and card file maintenance in the branch and onsite when possible.
  • Support the efforts of the Community Impact Team in your region.
  • Community and Workplace Partner Relationship Prospecting
  • CRM Management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all Ent policies and procedures.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • 1+ years' general business development or sales experience. Pref
  • 2+ Experience in business development or sales for a credit union/financial institution. Pref

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of business/relationship development strategies.
  • Excellent ability to appropriately match communication style to a wide array of external/internal audiences, excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience with/ability to use CRM software.

Certifications Required:
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. required

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $24.22 to $27.24 per Hour (S13)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
