Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record revenue in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company standards for both straightforward and intricate multi-element arrangements.
  • Prepare necessary journal entries for other revenue and deferred revenue.
  • Analyze account activities for critical deferred revenue and general ledger accounts, utilizing insights into customer behavior and associated risks.
  • Coordinate with billing and other departments to ensure accurate setup of revenue contracts within our financial systems.
  • Partner with technical accounting to validate that revenue recognition models are executed correctly.
  • Conduct month-end and quarter-end revenue analyses by customer and other relevant metrics.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation for general ledger and revenue operations.
  • Engage with various departments to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful audit outcomes and ensure compliance.
  • Execute additional tasks related to financial closing and special projects as required.
  • Perform analyses and suggest adjustments to judgmental balances.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and complete reconciliations for deferred revenue and other accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Knowledge of internal controls.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while knowing when to seek clarification.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various functions and locations.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
