Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Capture Manager to fuel our growth initiatives in the federal consulting market. As a pivotal member of our team, the Capture Manager will play a key role in identifying competitive opportunities, leading capture efforts, and steering the submission of winning proposals to secure new contract awards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a focus on Digital Transformation, Agile IT modernization, Data Analytics, and strategic consulting. Collaborating closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Capture Manager will drive strategic capture planning, customer engagement, and proposal development processes to propel DRT towards achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base.
In this role, the Capture Manager will:
  • Showcase exceptional leadership in business development through effective customer engagement, marketing strategies, and bid proposal expertise
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to orchestrate coordinated capture and bid preparation efforts
  • Utilize industry insights and customer relationships to drive cost-effective capture strategies and develop competitive proposals
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with SVP, Growth and Alliances, proposal team, and delivery account leadership to identify competitive opportunities
  • Engage with delivery team and solution architects to align on optimal solution offerings for competitive bids
  • Research market trends, prospective customers, and industry competitors to inform comprehensive capture strategies
  • Cultivate and nurture customer relationships to drive new business development
  • Guide opportunities through DRT's Step Review processes towards successful proposal submissions
  • Participate in marketing DRT's capabilities to new customers and partners
  • Lead proposal preparation activities and contribute expertise in content development
  • Advise on pricing strategy and support proposal review processes
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development, with at least 5 years of successful capture experience in federal agencies such as DOC, DHS, DHA, VA
  • Demonstrated track record of securing high-value contracts and achieving significant new business wins
  • Completion of government business development and capture training programs
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong customer relationships and deliver impactful marketing collateral
  • Experience in leading collaborative capture and proposal teams effectively
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
