Position Overview:

The Product Marketing Manager will develop and drive effective marketing strategies for a brand and/or set of products. They'll work collaboratively with shared service resources, Product, and Sales to launch unique and differentiated marketing campaigns that drive B2C and B2B revenue. This role sits in the Financial Services ecosystem at Colibri. The Financial Services ecosystem primarily serves the securities, banking, wealth management, mortgage and insurance sectors with professional education products. This role will drive the strategy, analysis, and execution for marketing growth, reporting to the Director of Marketing. The Product Marketing Manager will improve target market definition, messaging framework, tailor value narratives to customer personas, as well as develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies that support revenue growth through customer acquisition, engagement, and returning customers.

What You'll Do

  • Own the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategy for a brand and/or product set, with execution met on time, on budget, and of high quality.
  • Build deep and ongoing understanding of the professions, target audiences, competitors, industry trends and applies that knowledge to a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Based on customer data, develops personas, messaging and positioning for the brand/products.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing, to build internal alignment, execute strategies, gain learnings and optimize.
  • Work with Product, Sales, and Ecosystem Leadership to have a clear understanding of the product roadmap to plan the corresponding launch levels and establish business priorities.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of marketing activities and make data-driven recommendations to optimize to ensure revenue goals are met.
  • Work with the web optimization team to ensure inbound traffic can be converted into known leads through a best-in-class Web experience.
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand creation process, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing.
  • Develop and execute lead acquisition strategies to grow prospect and customer database.
  • Translate high-level business goals into a marketing strategy with clear measurable objectives (KPIs) using a mix of marketing channels for B2C and B2B routes to market.
  • For B2B, optimize and maintain existing collateral, and identifies new content requirements including sales collateral, slide ware, case studies, testimonials to ensure differentiation.
  • Establish on-going cadence with team stakeholders to ensure inclusion and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-marketing and selling across other Colibri eco-system product offerings and audiences.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven track record of building multi-channel marketing plans.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to work effectively with deadlines and successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tech savvy command of business software (Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Monday, PowerBI), Cloud-based software (Google Analytics, ClickUp, etc.)
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Hubspot and Salesforce
  • Strong process orientation: able to analyze requests, determine scope, research options, recommend a solution, execute in collaboration with IT and/or Digital Platforms teams, and measure project success.
  • Highly adept at extracting insights from data and leading others in data-driven decision-making; demonstrable experience presenting recommendations in a clear and concise way that effectively "tells a story" with data.
  • Experience with digital media, including SEM, display, social, email and affiliate channels, and also print direct marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in multi-channel marketing; experience can include a mix of B2C marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, effective MQL production in the B2B marketing or channel marketing.
  • Experience managing a budget with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in SalesForce is preferred.
  • Strong professional writing skills, with an emphasis on persuasive copy.
  • High degree of knowledge of paid media, SEO, content marketing.
  • Ability to influence others and enlist their help on a variety of ever-changing priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical, collaboration, and communication skills (written and verbal).
