Comet has an opening for a motivated and self-directed Technical Product Marketing Manager to join Comet's Product Marketing team.

This role will contribute to our technical writing program, growth initiatives in marketing channels, and sales enablement projects, while collaborating with highly technical marketers and closely partnering with Product and Sales.

You will work remotely and report into the VP of Marketing.

This role is ideal for someone that can execute while helping to drive product marketing strategy. We're looking for someone highly technical, that deeply understands our personas and the data science, machine learning, AI, or MLOps space.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of messaging for technical and practitioner-leader personas (i.e., data scientists, platform engineers, and ML team leaders)
  • Create customer-facing content to support product launches, and on a variety of use cases to showcase product features and competitive differentiators (e.g., website, one-pagers, case studies)
  • Create and maintain technical sales enablement content (e.g., prospect discovery scripts, product FAQ, competitive messaging)
  • Create and maintain demo videos and demo talk tracks about the product
  • Write blog articles and long-form content that connect Comet to customer needs, value creation, and outcomes; and highlights the advantages of Comet over competitors
  • Represent Comet at events, such as industry conferences, customer events, and community meetups.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in an either product management or product marketing role - experience with product marketing, growth marketing or technical sales enablement/engineering for a SaaS or machine learning solution is a Must
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Machine Learning industry - an understanding of common machine learning techniques in computer vision, audio, and NLP is a Must
  • Solid experience using common data science programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including Python, PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow
  • Experience working with data scientists and/or software engineers
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and provide the appropriate level of detail by target audience
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Can think strategically, generate creative solutions, and manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written and verbal communications
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action
  • Always seeking data to drive the narrative and measure results
  • Deep learning and programming experience in a professional or research setting is a Must
  • B.S. or B.A. in data science, computer science or similar practical field preferred

This role will be fully remote in the USA or based in New York City and working with a global team (large presence in Tel Aviv and Europe).

Base salary range : $150K-$170K
