Responsibilities:
Provide equipment recommendations, specifications, operational documentation, control algorithm programming, and general hardware and software support for equipment life chemical pumps and chemical feed systems.Collaborate with equipment system integrators and suppliers to develop and execute custom-engineered solutions.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for customers and field sales force.Drive process improvement and enhancement tools to increase team productivity.Assist the field sales team with equipment proposals and system design recommendations.Develop relationships with field sales and service teams to increase quality sales opportunities.Manage vendor deliverable schedules and coordinate components logistics on custom projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or other technical discipline) or a minimum of 5 years of experience with chemical feed and/or automation products.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America (typically less than 15% of the time).Prior experience or working knowledge of products such as True Sense, ICC, and PaceSetter, or open market equivalent platforms is preferred.Ability to implement enhancement solutions using self-developed tools (Excel, VBA, SharePoint, etc.) is preferred.
Desired characteristics and skills:
Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.Expert in the use of Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.Ability to speak effectively before groups and customers.Preference for AutoCAD, PLC programming, and Water Treatment processes, controls, and programming in chemical applications experience.
