Position Summary
The EHS Field Manager will play a pivotal role in articulating business objectives, programs, and processes for the Eastern region. This position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program, ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and guide a team of three EHS professionals, establishing goals, monitoring performance, and encouraging professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize EHS objectives with the organization's strategic goals.
• Utilize influencing skills to cultivate a robust EHS culture valued by leadership across commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and field services.
• Identify and drive process simplification and improvements for the North America distributed workforce team.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• Recognize emerging EHS issues and trends, developing effective strategies to address them.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
• Promote and adhere to procedures for reporting and investigating EHS incidents, including near-misses, accidents, and environmental spills.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Perform regular audits and inspections of facilities, worksites, and equipment to evaluate compliance with EHS regulations and company standards.
• Act as the primary contact for EHS-related inquiries and communications for the North America East Field.
• Support customer EHS inquiries related to field activities.
• Participate in special projects, including risk reduction initiatives and internal program audits.
• Mentor business team members to foster a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile
The EHS Field Manager should possess:
• A solid background in health and safety.
• Proficiency in coaching and communicating EHS requirements across all organizational levels.
• The ability to collaborate and influence across functional teams.
• Skills to manage multiple demands with professionalism and sound judgment in dynamic business situations.
• Strong listening abilities and the capacity to articulate ideas and solutions clearly.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire team members.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support team members at various worksites.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., Apollo, FMEA, Bow-tie, Fishbone, Tap Root).
• Demonstrated skills in EHS risk recognition and auditing.

Core Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven EHS leadership experience with a focus on health and safety.
