We are seeking a Research Associate in the Investment Office of our downtown Cleveland wealth management firm. The Research Associate supports Clearstead's Investment Office by maintaining departmental manager data bases and related reports and acting on the team's behalf for critical internal IT, marketing, and other strategic projects.

In this position you will:

Provide annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly operational assignments to assist the Research department. Maintain investment manager databases and ratings processes (public and private markets)Coordinate and produces private markets reports ensuring accuracy and consistencyAssist senior team members with investment diligence, due diligence write-ups and creating manager updatesParticipate on calls when necessary, with third party managers, products, and vendorsImprove the department's use of technology in the day-to-day operations by monitoring the performance of manager ratings and the manager databaseCoordinate operational activities with the firm's portfolio implementation team and operations team.Attend at Investment Committee meetings on an as-needed basisComplete other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have:0-3 years of related experience within a professional services firm; experience within a financial services institution a plusBachelor's DegreeStrong analytical skills, exhibits great attention to detail and has the ability to think strategicallyAbility to work under pressure, organize and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment where time management, attention to detail, follow-through and meeting deadlines are criticalExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbalDemonstrated client service skillsStrong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)Experience in writing and editing business development materials as well as creating and working with spreadsheets, charts and graphsStrong team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the organizationCommitment to company valuesClearstead is committed to building a culturally diverse workforce and strongly encourages applications from minorities and women.
